Had a challenging day with my very first big punt going the wrong way in the tennis melzer started playing terrible as soon as my money got involved!! trying to take learning's from the other day i soon decided again to back out taking an 10 pound hit if he won.
I then decided to try and hedge to hedge the loss so it was less all round but then after the match seemingly one sided affair it was going the oppositions way so i decided to get back in and luckily it paid off, Not much mind you to the tune of .28p but at least by the last serve I was square all round and hadn't taken a hit. not sure exactly what i learnt as it could have gone anyway but I suppose its a learning on in play trading and what potentially I can do with a Situation.
Tried a few horse races in the afternoon but got swamped with work so kept clear for a few hours.
That night tho i played about 4 races while waiting for somebody and seemed to have my luck in as all 4 in a row came in taking between 4-7 pounds from backing and laying. really pleased with that so now pushed the balance up to £68.
Really thinking of putting a decent amount on Mexico to spoil the party but I have found in the past i often loose money on football believing somehow i know better than most....unfortunately this isn't the case and most know better than me!!
I back too much football with heart than head. Right better go presentation to do and then a days World cup launch to enjoy.
